Finally she has teachers who care and will teach her at the level she is at. This kid makes me so happy. Hope she continues to love school. Right now, it’s just “Awesome”!

Dear Parents,
The school year is off to a great start! We would like to take a moment to introduce ourselves and explain how our class this year will be structured.
We are Mrs. DaSilva and Mrs. Slayton, and both have been teaching here for several years. This will be our second year teaming and sharing a class. Mrs. DaSilva will be teaching language arts and social studies on Mondays and Wednesdays. Mrs. Slayton will be teaching writing, math and science and will be at school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Although we are not at school on the same days, we are in contact with each other on a daily basis. We communicate about homework, classroom conduct and student achievement regularly. We are dedicated to maintaining a consistent learning environment through the week.
As you all know, this class is also a 2/3 combination class. The students in this class have been specifically selected because they are self motivated, fast learning, independent workers. We look forward to creating a challenging, stimulating, and fun learning environment for both grade levels.
